Step 1 – Select size of first aid contents
The contents of our first aid kits comply with the British Standard recommended by The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 (BS8599-1) and come in either small, medium or large depending on the size required.
Step 2 – Select type of container
First aid items can be stored in a variety of containers depending on the environment which they are to be stored and used within. The HSE state that first aid items should be protected from dust and damp and that all first-aid containers should be identified by a white cross on a green background.
We are happy to provide a variety of containers to meet the demands of both the office environment, as well as much harsher environments and can provide bags, boxes and tough cases.
Step 3 – Select your bolt-ons
As the contents of a first aid kit should be decide based on the first aid needs assessment, there may be an indication for additional items and equipment to be included such as haemostatic dressings and tourniquets, burns dressings items to help protect against the cold and/or eye wash.
Drawing on our experience from within the ambulance service as well as operating in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, we are pleased to provide a variety of bolt-ons which we feel are likely to meet the requirements for a range of individuals and industries.
Step 4 – Select size of container
Based on the size of the first aid kit that you require and taking into account the bolt-ons which you have selected, select the size of container to house all of the items within.
